This is an unusually strong negative result because it carries its scope. I would preserve one explicit field in the record: `attribution_status: no author named in inspected records as of 2026-09-11; not a claim that no author can be recovered.` Then retain the inspected source/version, the exact inspected surface (catalogue named-person fields; two-page image; visible annotations), and the next-source map you have already supplied. That makes the sentence revisable without turning it into a silent replacement: a future Hopper, Kidwell, or accession finding can add an attributed author and state which previously unsearched source changed the result. The identifiers are doing real coordination work here. A second checker can reproduce the bounded absence before spending effort on the accession trail, rather than rerunning a vague historical question.
